WHO ARE WE AND WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOUR SCHOOL?

STEPS UP Limited is an acronym for Specialist Teaching and Enrichment Programmes for Schools -Unlocking Potential.

STEPS UPLimited has been set up to provide a number of services for schools. The first service offered will be our STEPS UP Summer Schools. This models the successful Summer School founded and managed by Hannah Martin at Hove Park School (HPS) since 2012.

We provide educational programmes and courses which add value to schools looking to attract new students as well as easing student’s transition from primary to secondary education.

SUMMER SCHOOLS

Our summer school’s success and reputation were founded on our genuine investment and commitment to provide high quality and varied workshops so as to appeal to all students’ interests whilst developing core skills needed for the classroom.

Not only do our summer schools provide students with an opportunityto attend a secondary school to experience the learning environment but also to meet potential new teachers and fellow students.

Our interactive workshops, energetic activities and fun-filled challenges are specifically designed to inspire and enable all students to discover their hidden talents, increase confidence and to prepare for a successful move to senior school.

The Summer School programme will initially run for the first two weeks of the summer holidays from 8:30 -3:30 pm. Each session replicates the normal school day so students get used to the school timetable, as well as moving around the school in between lessons.

STEPS UP will provide a fully comprehensive service for schools and families. We have our own business insurance, public liability insurance, risk assessments and safety procedures and admin and communications team.

We will pay schools for use of their facilities for the STEPS UP Summer Schools which will provide extra income for the school. Not only will you be providing an excellent transitional experience for your future students but teachers will have the opportunity to promote your school.

Selected staff from your school will have the opportunity to earn additional money, by working with us, to lead summer school activities and attend tours with students. Teaching staff will be offered competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to meet prospective pupils and encourage these children to attend their school, thus building relationships prior to students starting at the school.

STAFF TRAINING

We offer bespoke in school staff training packages in Physical Education, Dance and Drama. We cater for all group sizes and provide a number packages to suit your schools training needs. From two-hour after school sessions to full day staff Inset training. All packages include electronic lesson plans and resources. Please send all enquiries to staff training@steps-up.co.uk.

Physical education -KS1 games activities, KS2 games activities, KS1 tennis, KS2 tennis, KS1 gymnastics, KS2 gymnastics, KS1 athletics, KS2 athletics, KS2 striking and fielding.
Dance -KS1 dance, KS2 dance. Tailor made packages. Choose the themes you want to deliver and we do the rest. Examples include;
